Details: Ontario Knife Rat-1 is a quality tactical and survival knife that can withstand abuse in most any environment. It has a smooth action, solid lock up, and ergonomic handle.  For the price, it’ll be a challenge to find a knife that compares to the performance of the Rat-1.  It also has a four position pocket clip and dual thumb studs, that allows the wearer to customize it to their specific use and preferred carry method.

*AUS 8 is a Japanese stainless steel (also produced in China) and is very similar to 440 but with more vanadium added to give additional hardness. AUS 8 is at the higher end of the medium quality steel and is favored for it’s cost effectiveness and corrosion resistance. Hardness is rated 57-59RC.
