Details: The Gerber 06 FAST (Forward Action Spring Technology) flies into operation with the flip of a switch.  The S30V premium stainless tanto blade was designed for thrusting and slashing, while the semi-serration aides in cutting and ripping, with the G-10 scales giving added grip, even when wet.  The black oxide coating provides extra protection against abuse and the harsh elements. (The Gerber 06 Auto also comes in a plain edge drop point, and partially serrated drop point.)
